What’s Puppy Yoga?
This is an energetic yoga class with puppies running around you. The puppies are free to choose humans they like and explore the space while you practice yoga.
The yoga sequences are put together to be dog-friendly and to encourage dog-human interaction.
This class is beginner friendly and children friendly (6 years or older), and you get to hangout with the puppies after class.
Feel free to bring your phone or camera and take lots of photos before, during, or after class and share your photos with us! #sunberryfitness #puppyyoga

An Amazing Cause
Puppy Yoga classes are charity events in support of Second Chance In Life Foundation. They are a local non-profit organization run completely by volunteers who devote their time and passion to find homes for abandoned animals in need, with an emphasis on dogs and puppies that are abandoned from Taiwan. Proceed* of the events goes to pay for dog’s food, toys, and medical bills.
Puppies are available for adoption and fostering (not just the ones in the class). Check out FAQ for more information.
*total proceeds less cost of running the class.
Participants
Can I bring my dog?
Please leave your dogs at home. The puppies at the event are rescued animals, it can be unperdicable when they encounter another animal they have not met before.
You are welcomed to take photos and video footage of the class. So you can share them with your dogs at home 🙂
Can I bring my kids?
Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian during the event.
Children 6 years and older are welcomed. Please inform your child to allow the puppies to appoarch them before petting or hugging them.
Please consult your doctor to make sure they do not have dog or mite allergies.
Can I come and watch the class?
To ensure the studio is enjoyable and comfortable, we only allow ticket holders, staffs and volunteers during the class.
If you are a member of the media and would like to film or take photos of the class please contact us ahead of time.
Can I adopt the puppies?
Second Chance In Life have puppies and dogs available for fostering and adoption. They have helped over 100 animals find a new home since 2014. View their animals on their website. If you have fostering or adoption related questions, feel free to reach out to Grace on Facebook or in person after the yoga class.
Animals brought in by Second Chance in Life Foundation will have gone through the mandatory medical treatments/examinations/vaccines. Medical record and test results will be provided in the event of adoption.
Can I take photos during class?
Yes, you are welcomed to bring your phone/camera to your yoga mat during class. Please have your phone on silent or airplane mode – it is still a yoga class!
Animal Safety
Can I pet the puppies?
The puppies in the class are rescued animals, please allow them to appoarch you and sniff you before petting them. This will put them more at ease.
Can I pick the puppies up?
Please notify one of the volunteers before picking the puppies up. The volunteers from Second Chance In Life will let you know if the puppies are ready 😉
Can I bring food for the puppies?
For the safety of the animals Second Chance In Life will supply any puppy treats. You are welcomed to stay after class and hang out with the puppies.

Do you do private classes?
We organize private sessions for individual groups. Please contact us with your event detail including contact, number of people, dates and other needs.
